Synopsis
This is the story of a man who carved out a unique niche in the world of books. Like so many in the capital city of India, Delhi, he arrived in the city destitute, a refugee. Now the owner of a successful bookshop, his story is made remarkable by the fact that he came from a family of landowners in Pakistan with no literary pretensions and knew nothing of the literary world. But perhaps the words of his loyal clientele best sum up the character, enterprise and determination of Balraj Bahri and the success of his bookstore.
